Namens stichting NL for Sl willen wij u erg bedanken voor u komst, bijdrage en alle hulp die u ons hebt aangeboden bij de diner dance op 4 februari.
Met alle donaties die we hebben kunnen verzamelen die dag gaan we een project in Sri Lanka ondersteunen. Om dit in een juiste manier te doen hebben we voor de stichting een bankrekening nodig en deze is nog in progres. Zodra we dus deze dingen op orde hebben laten we jullie weten hoe het gaat met de projecten.

On behalf of the NL for Sl foundation, we would like to thank you very much for coming, contributing and all the help you offered us at the dinner dance on 4 February.
With all the donations we were able to collect that day, we are going to support a project in Sri Lanka. To do this in a proper way, we need a bank account for the foundation and this is still in progres. So as soon as we get these things in order we will let you know how the projects are going.

About the event
On the 4th of February 2023, the NL for SL Foundation official launched itself through a charity dinner-dance titled “Little Smiles”. The event was held in the Dutch city of Rijswijk, just outside the Hague, and brought together over 300 people from the Sri Lankan community from all over the Netherlands. The event featured a live band (Chaya Vibrations) and a Sri Lankan buffet.
This was the first fundraiser organized by the foundation for the purpose of raising funds to help the economically vulnerable in Sri Lanka, with the specific purpose of providing school supplies for Sri Lankan children from low socio-economic backgrounds.
We raised over 13.000 Euros from ticket sales, and after covering the cost of the event ( including venue rental & catering), we had a net income of 1.978 Euros, which will be used to carry out our charity projects in Sri Lanka.
