The NL for SL Hope to Home Housing Project was officially launched in the Sogama settlement of the Paradeka Division under the guidance of the Udapalatha Divisional Secretariat. Through this initiative, a deserving family will receive a safe and dignified home, made possible by the generous support of Sri Lankans living in the Netherlands.
Despite being far from their homeland, these expatriates have chosen to stand with vulnerable communities in Sri Lanka, demonstrating the enduring spirit of compassion and unity. NL for SL extends its sincere appreciation to everyone who contributed to making this project a reality and looks forward to seeing the Hope to Home project successfully completed.

Our mission is to work toward eliminating absolute poverty in Sri Lanka by supporting vulnerable and low-income communities who lack access to basic goods and essential services. We focus especially on children and the elderly, helping improve their standard of living through education, healthcare, and essential support. Based in the Netherlands, we raise funds transparently and responsibly -primarily from the Sri Lankan community - through events and activities that contribute directly to alleviating suffering and creating lasting positive change in Sri Lanka.

When Tropical Storm Ditwa flooded Sri Lanka in late 2025, we stepped in — shipping 75 refurbished monitors from the Netherlands to help the University of Peradeniya get back on its feet.
Books and school essentials handed to 30 A/L students at Badulla Uva College — giving them the tools they need to succeed in their upcoming exams.
